CPE kicks off GO!vember with new partnerships to help Kentuckians make education and career plans

November 02, 2026

As Kentucky high school students and families head into GO!vember, the state's annual month-long campaign to help them prepare for college and training after high school, the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) today announced two partnerships designed to make that path clearer and easier to follow.

Futuriti, CPE's free college and career exploration platform, has partnered with Level All to give every Kentucky school district a free tool for guiding students through their Individual Learning Plan (ILP), grade by grade. CPE is also moving to make Common App the statewide college application required by House Bill 307, the My Kentucky Future Act, so students can apply to Kentucky's public colleges and universities through a single, free platform.

"The decision to go to college isn't made in a single month of senior year. It's built over years, as students discover what they love and learn what it takes to get there," said CPE President Aaron Thompson. "GO!vember is our reminder to every family that college is within reach. With Futuriti and Level All guiding students from middle school on, and a single, free application waiting for them in senior year, we're making that path clearer for every Kentucky student."

Every Kentucky student in grades 6–12 is required to have an Individual Learning Plan, a living roadmap that connects their interests and goals to coursework, careers and plans after high school. Many districts have felt pressure to buy costly platforms to manage that work. Level All offers a free alternative, available to every Kentucky district at no cost.

Level All is a FERPA-compliant platform aligned to Kentucky's ILP framework, with a plan for every grade from 6 through 12. Its lessons align to the Kentucky Advising Academy's Postsecondary Advising Scope and Sequence, a grade-by-grade guide to the conversations and activities that prepare students for life after high school. When a lesson calls for Kentucky-specific information, students go straight to Futuriti.org to explore careers, real Kentucky wages, college costs and scholarships, then return to their plan. Counselors and teachers can assign lessons, monitor progress and see where students are in their ILP work.

Ten districts have already signed on and begun using Level All's ILP lessons with students. Districts can learn more and opt in at futuriti.org/page/level-all or by emailing kentucky@levelall.com.

“Kentucky’s schools and counselors are doing extraordinary work with limited time. Level All gives them turnkey resources that handle the heavy lifting for Individual Learning Plans," said Kevin Kenny, co-founder and co-CEO of Level All. "Every Kentucky student deserves a plan for their future and with this partnership, every district in the state is able to offer students in grades 6-12 a free, personalized plan that connects what they love to the education and careers that can get them there."

The My Kentucky Future Act, signed into law in April 2026, directs CPE to establish a common online application for Kentucky's public postsecondary institutions. In September, the Council voted to pursue Common App as that statewide platform. Common App is free for students, offers 24/7 help and a mobile app, and connects eligible applicants with scholarship opportunities. It is already familiar in Kentucky: last year, more than 9,500 applicants submitted 65,000 applications to member institutions. Common App will also be linked directly from Futuriti.org.

"I’m thrilled that the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) has approved pursuing Common App as their statewide application platform," said Jenny Rickard, CEO of Common App. "Building a simpler, more connected path from exploring options to applying is exactly the kind of work that can help more students see postsecondary education as within reach. I’m grateful to the leaders across Kentucky who are working to turn this vision into reality, and excited about what we can accomplish together for Kentucky students."

The law also creates Kentucky's Proactive Postsecondary Admissions Program. With a family's consent, students who meet a public college or university's admission requirements will be notified that they are eligible for admission, before they ever apply. Families can opt in through Infinite Campus. For students who may not see themselves as college material, learning they are already eligible can change their plans.

The partnerships arrive as Kentucky faces a demographic squeeze. CPE projects that the state's public high school graduating class will shrink by about 10.5% by 2040, while Kentucky's workforce will still need more than 60% of working-age adults to hold a postsecondary credential. Holding college enrollment steady will require raising the share of graduates who go directly to a Kentucky college from 47.5% today to about 53% by 2040.

Throughout GO!vember, CPE, Futuriti and partners, including GEAR UP Kentucky and the Kentucky Advising Academy, will share resources on exploring careers, applying to college, completing the FAFSA, finding scholarships and earning college credit in high school.
