WorkHawaiʻi offers free resume workshops to help job seekers prepare for Career Expo 2026

HONOLULU – The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Community Services (DCS), through its WorkHawaiʻi Division, is offering two free resume workshops on Tuesday, October 27, to help job seekers prepare for the Career Expo 2026 on Wednesday, October 28, at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
The workshops will provide hands-on assistance with creating, updating and printing resumes, along with guidance on resume writing and interview skills ahead of the Career Expo, which will feature more than 100 employers representing the private sector and federal, state and city government, offering job seekers an opportunity to connect directly with prospective employers.
“A thriving workforce ecosystem connects people with meaningful employment opportunities,” said DCS Director Anton Krucky. “WorkHawaiʻi continues to evolve and we’re strengthening partnerships and expanding employment opportunities for people facing the greatest barriers to employment, including individuals with disabilities and those working toward stable housing. Building confidence and creating pathways to employment can lead to greater economic stability for individuals and families.”
